LUSU Freshers’ Fair 2026 is officially open! Join us on Wednesday and Thursday of Freshers’ Week and discover all that Lancaster has to offer!
Whether you’re looking to join a new society, get involved with sport, discover exciting opportunities or find out more about what’s happening around campus, the LUSU Freshers’ Fairs are the absolute essential places to start.
This year the event is split over two days (Wednesday 30th September & Thursday 1st October), each focussing on two distinct themes; Day 1 – the Activity Fair, and Day 2, the Community Fair. Across the fairs, you’ll find a snapshot of everything LUSU brings to your student experience, and more! Expect hundreds of student groups, societies, sports clubs, departments and brands ready to meet you, help you find your people and maybe throw a freebie or two your way.

ACCESSIBLE HOUR
Fairs open for general access at 12 noon on both days, with an accessible hour running from 11am-12 noon for a quieter, more relaxed experience.
Beyond Freshers Fair
Expect to find more than just clubs and socs! This year north campus will also be hosting a bustling Farmers Market too, with opportunities to peruse crafts and enjoy drinks and tasty treats. Alongside all of this, expect lots of fun extra treats along the way and you can meet us, your SU – discover your advice service, meet your officer team and grab tickets to be biggest clubnights in Lancaster via Sugarhouse.
