Farmers’ MArket
Delivering a variety of local businesses to your doorstep.
Run by your Students' Union, the Farmers’ market aims to increase trade for local, independent producers whilst strengthening links between the university and the local community. We promote the importance of buying local and (where possible) organic produce in relation to conservation of the environment and goods from local businesses to help the local economy thrive.
You'll find everything from fresh produce to authentic street food and vintage clothing at our weekly Farmers' Markets, every Tuesday in Engineering Square & Thursday in Alexandra Square 10am - 4pm. Engineering Square is a smaller site and ordinarily we would only book food vendors for these pitches. Alexandra Square is our main site and is the very heart of campus.
