Your Education Officer, Niamh McAuley, has recently been appointed as a member of the Quality Assurance Agency’s (QAA) Student Strategic Advisory Committee (SSAC).

Stagecoach recently announced the price of an Annual UniRider for the 26/27 academic year. Since last year it’s gone up by well over 40%!

From September, students taking the short 10 minute bus journey to campus from their student house will have to pay £555 for the privilege. Not only that, but the new Annual UniRider only covers 9 months of the year (the same as the old Terms 1+2+3 Pass). That means an inexplicable increase of 42.6%!

The results from the National Student Survey are in and once again LUSU has recorded a great result for student satisfaction.

It’s time to introduce the FTOs looking out for you next academic year.
