Students to mark Remembrance Day

Remembrance

Students will hold a short ceremony on campus in memory of those who have lost their lives while serving in Britain's armed forces.

The Music Society and the Lancaster Detachment of Liverpool Officer Training Corps will lead the ceremony in Alexandra Square from 10.45am on Friday November 11, culminating in the two minute's silence at 11am.

All are welcome to attend to pay their respects.

We are looking for a student representative to do a reading at the event. If you are interested in being involved and/or doing a reading please contact k.jackson@lancaster.ac.uk for more details.
