LA1:TV member Siri Hampapur has been named as one of ten student journalists working for the NUS this year.

Siri will be making two videos a month on the themes of community, sustainability, lifestyle and student perspective.

The videos will be distributed via NUS social media channels, putting Lancaster in the national student spotlight.

Siri said: “As soon as I found out about it at the NUS Media Summit I knew I wanted to go for it because it just sounds like an amazing opportunity to get more work experience whilst getting paid for something you love to do!

“Being part of LA1:TV meant I had the necessary skills to just go out, film a piece and edit it!”
