We love bringing you news about Chris Osborn, mostly because he does amazing things and we will be sad to see him go. But it has come time for Chris to leave Lancaster and take up his new job as Junior Vision Engineer at Arena TV, the UK's largest independent outside broadcast company.  Some of their work includes the Rio Olympic games, Spring Watch, UEFA Champions league, Glastonbury Festival and Euro 2016.

Chris, who will be graduating from Lancaster with a PhD in History, specifically on the topic of Brass Bands and their music, has said student media has given him all of the experience needed for this job. “It was through doing outside broadcasts with LA1:TV that I realised this is what I want to do”, Chris said some of his favourite live broadcasts include Roses, Freshers TV,  Soundbooth Sessions and Lancaster University Ballroom Socialites Charity Showcase.
