Queen Elizabeth II of England and the Commonwealth has been on the throne for 60 years.

What will happen:
You will bring your own tables and chairs into the quad and supply your own picnic food/ take away pizzas (Jacob’s join). The bar will be open for drinks and ice creams.
The Dean has kindly given permission to relax noise restrictions for the day (It only happens once every 60 years after all) so there will be music.
At 2 pm on Saturday 2nd June (Weather permitting) We will sing the National Anthem whilst standing to attention, drink a toast to the Her Majesty the Queen and parade costumes and present prizes.
There will be a prize for the best costume and another for the best decorated table.
The theme is ‘Alice in Wonderland’. (Easy costumes e.g. card to wear with a King or Queen on it)
We will decorate the quad with Union Jack bunting etc. (Volunteers please).
All welcome. If we have too many tables we will use the patio in front of the bar too.
