Description

We are Lancaster University Sailing Club (LUSC). We sail throughout the year at Bolton Sailing Club and welcome everyone whether you're a novice or an expert. Transport is organised by the club leaving from campus for each session. 

 

We run start sailing courses over the course of the year, perfect for those who want to learn, or just have fun on the water. All transport, equipment and tuition is included in the price. Sessions are held on Sundays, check our instagram for details (@lancssailing). You'll be taught by experienced and qualified instructors and safety team, who can answer any questions you might have on the day.

 

Lancaster University Sailing Club also focuses on team racing, which involves three boats on three, in a short, tense battle. We train on Saturdays, aiming to qualify for the BUSA University Finals, where last year we managed to finish in the top 15. We also compete against universities in weekend long events, involving both sailing and social events.

 

We host regular themed socials, in addition to our Christmas Dinner "LUSCmas", Roses and Final Fling.
