LUHC is one of the largest and oldest societies at Lancaster with more than 400+ members and membership open to anyone all year round. We organise hiking trips and socials for every term week. Mostly visiting the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales using hired transport, but we frequently venture to Scotland and Wales for fun weekend trips too!
 
Every Monday we meet in a different pub either in town or on campus at 8:30pm, with many other socials planned throughout the year. We have more information available on our discord and website including information about equipment. If you have any questions or queries do not hesitate to contact us through our Discord server, Facebook, Instagram or email (links below).
 
General Calendar:
  • Monday at 8:30pm we have a pub social in a different location around Lancaster
  • Sunday trips most weeks with at least one Saturday per term for those who can't make Sundays; day trips cost £12.50
  • weekend-long trips roughly about 2 times per term which generally cost £40 - £50
