Students' Union Annual General Meeting
Lancaster University Students’ Union’s Annual General Meeting takes place in George Fox Lecture Theatre 1 at 6.30pm on Wednesday November 2.
Agenda items will include Officer reports, Trustees' Annual Report and Accounts for 2015-16, and Affiliations for 2016-17.
There is also an opportunity for union members to submit motions for addition to the agenda. Deadline for motions is noon on Wednesday October 26. To submit a motion or request guidance on how to do so, email elections@lusu.co.uk.
Items identified for discussion by our Full-Time Officer Team include:
- Higher Education reform and potential impacts on Lancaster students, and the National Demo on November 19
- Proposed National Union of Students boycott/sabotage of the National Student Survey
- Potential impact of changes to immigration rules affecting students and university staff
- Potential impact of city centre development on the Sugarhouse and student rental market
An agenda for the meeting will be published at www.lusu.co.uk on Wednesday October 26. Deadline for submitting amendments to motions is 9am on Monday October 31.

- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
