LUSU COUNCIL
This is the Lead policy making body of the union and gives the organization its key political lead. Its elected membership is made up of all presidents, Vice Presidents (with one vote), Full time officers and Cross Campus Officers. Any student can attend the meeting and question officers. Any student can submit an item for discussion at LUSU Council and we actively encourage you to do so by emailing the Chair – ku.ca.retsacnalnull@eriugcm.d

LUSU EXECUTIVE – Meets Weekly
This is the coordinating body of the Union with delegated powers from LUSU Council and the Trustee Board. The membership of this meeting comprises of the 6 Full Time Officers (FTOs), 3 College Presidents and 3 Cross Campus Officers elected from a quorate LUSU Council. The Executive discusses the day to day business of the Union and approves social requests, sponsorship requests and other administrative issues.

EQUALITY, WELFARE & DIVERSITY COUNCIL
This is a policy-recommending body of the union which discusses and votes on policy regarding Equality, Welfare and Diversity issues at Lancaster. Any successful policy will then be forwarded to Union Council which will become LUSU policy if that body passes it. It is also the main body where campaigns relating to this area are discussed before further plans are made to implement them. Its elected membership is made up of the LUSU Vice President (Equality, Welfare & Diversity), the LUSU President and any Cross Campus Officers or JCR/PGSA Officers with an EWD remit. Any student can attend the meeting and question officers. Any student can submit an item for discussion at EWD Council and we actively encourage you to do so by emailing the Chair ku.ca.retsacnalnull@tseb.e
