We've worked with ISS to get open access creative software installed on computers in the Learning Zone.

Students told us that they would benefit from access to Adobe creative software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro. These packages are freely available to students connected with LICA but members from other courses said they would like access to them for both academic and extra-curricular purposes.

Following your feedback, Vice-President Campaigns & Communications Rachel Hughes (pictured) has worked with ISS to have the software installed on four machines in the Learning Zone.

They have also been given access to lynda.com, an online resource offering tutorials in these powerful software packages.

Rachel said: "This is a really exciting result because for the first time students can access tutorials and also practise the skills you are learning at the same time."

If you've got an idea for something that would improve your academic experience, submit it via our website.
