Our Just Play Activators got ready for the start of term with a team-building adventure in Snowdonia.

The trip included a series of outdoor challenges and pursuits with gorge walking, blindfolded obstacle courses and high-pressure team problem-solving activities.

Working on building self-confidence and developing self-esteem, the trip allowed our Activators to enhance their leadership skills as well as working as part of a team under pressure.

Trip organiser Abby Pridmore said: “It was fantastic to get our Activators off campus and trying a whole different range of sports that they had never done before. They had to really think outside the box whilst gorge walking, as they had to master rock climbing up waterfalls on unstable surfaces”.

Since arriving back on campus, our Just Play Activators have continued their training with further sport leadership workshops and CPD courses. The Just Play project has now commenced for its third year, and the timetable can be found by clicking here.
