Students working as part of our summer International Cultural Exchange programme have welcomed guests from around the world to Lancaster and are at the start of a three-week programme of amazing activities and opportunities.

Dozens of Lancaster students (pictured) completed training last week ready host a fantastic three-week visit by students from universities in India, Pakistan, China, Ghana and Malaysia.

The 180 visiting students, who arrived over the weekend, will get chance to experience life in Lancaster, get involved in academic activities, community volunteering projects and social events, enjoy a chance to explore London, develop new skills and make new friends from around the globe.

A highlight of the visit will be the Global Talent Showcase, in the Great Hall from 7pm on Tuesday August 2 - all are welcome to attend.
