China trip

Over the weekend students set off to China with LUSU Overseas where they will spend three weeks immersing themselves in Chinese culture with Lancaster’s partner Beijing Jiaotong University.

While in China students will get the opportunity to witness first-hand the contrast between tradition and modernity though a range of activities from traditional tea tastings to watching Kungfu and acrobatic shows. They will also have the opportunity to learn the language, sample Chinese higher education and volunteer with local student groups.

Ben Harper who is on the trip is already pretty excited about the food available.

This is the first out the Lancaster University Students’ Unions Overseas summers trips to head out. Over the coming weeks, students will also be traveling out to Malaysia, India and Ghana.
