Students and staff from Lancaster joined marchers who were part ofthe Lancaster Pride parade in the city centre on Sunday.

Lancaster Pride was the first event of its kind in the city for 10 years and brought together people from all walks of life in Lancaster and further afield.

There was a great atmosphere as spectators turned out to support marchers as they set off from Dalton Square and completed a circuit of the city centre.

The march was accompanied by a street fair in Dalton Square, carnival in Church Street and various other events across the city.
