Today we publish our Impact Report 2016, telling the story of our highlights from the last year.

Published each January, the annual Impact Report offers a summary of the ways in which the union has made a difference for the benefit of our members.

From big high-profile events like our massive home Roses win in May to behind-the-scenes activity such as supporting our members through academic appeals, the report picks out our highlights as well as some of the ways we’ve supported individual students to enjoy amazing experiences and achieve brilliant things.

There were big changes to the way we operate during 2016, with our members voting to approve new decision-making systems designed to put more power in the hands of students. We launched our new structures at the beginning of the 2016/17 academic year and our members immediately began sending us their ideas for improving every aspect of student life. Our first ‘Student Jury’ decision-making body met for the first time last term.
