Lancaster's Bright Futures society won a national award at an event in London last month.

The group, which is primarily linked to Lancaster University Business School and helps its members gain employability skills,was named Bright Futures Society of the Year.

Among the achievements that led to the award was the group's success in building a strong digital presence to connect its members and help them develop the skills and knowledge to launch their careers.

Society President Goda Gavenyte and Marketing and Design Officer Kelsey Robb were at the event to collect their trophy.
