First Lancaster Pride In 10 years

On Saturday 20ththe first Lancaster Pride in 10 years will take place and everyone invited to head along and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

The Pride march will be setting off from Dalton Square at 12 noon before setting off around the city centre. In the run there are various activities happening on campus from banner making sessions to Cocktails in Grizedale bar. You can find a full list of activities and keep up to date with news on the Facebook event.

Jess Phoenix, LGBTQ+ Officer said, “It’s great to see so many people and communities coming together to celebrate Pride, it’s been a lot of hard work from a lot of amazing people ad I’m glad it’s finally come together”.
