Last week forums took place for all the appointed academic reps across campus. Over 120 student reps attended the forums throughout the week to represent your academic interests and provide feedback. Over 20 candidates put themselves forward to be your Faculty representatives.

You can use your ‘Student Only’ Moodle spaces to contact your reps, share feedback and discuss academic related issues. These spaces are not accessible by department staff.

This week the Union Education Assembly will meet for the first time. It is open to all students who can provide feedback and shape your Union’s academic campaigns and policies. Issues for discussion will include:

  • Can students get advance info about timetabling?
  • How can communications between University and student be improved?
  • Pre-arrival information for student – did you get what you needed?
  • National issues: HE Bill and TEF

All students are welcome: Furness Lecture Theatre 3, Thursday 10th November 6pm.
