Adding to the award winning student media we have at Lancaster this weekend, LA1:TV took home the NaSTA Best Technical Achievement award 2016!

LA1:TV have submitted nominations and made the short list for the annual National Student Television Association awards several times and this year won their first award for Best Technical Achievement for their Roses 2016 coverage.

Current Station Manager Ben Kay has said it is “Amazing” to have won the award and that the team are over the moon. He added, “There are a million people to thank that helped make this award possible including ISS, YSTV and LUSU. This was of course a huge team effort and massive win for LA1:TV and I would like to say a special thank you to Josh Hodgson and Chris Osborn”.
