A great term for food

Lent Term has been another great one for food with students hosting nights at the Deli! Working with the Studentsā€™ Union Innovation team, individuals and groups have been taught the necessary skills to run a night at the Deli, this includes things like finance and marketing.

Deli Take overs have continued with Culture Society hosting a Korean cooking night teaching others how to make Kimbap (ź¹€ė°„) & Japchae (ģž”ģ±„), offering hands on experience and teaching students about aspects of Korean Culture. Fooders, a group of MSc students ran a Greek Night and a German Street food night as part of their Entrepreneurship module.

Aaliya Suleman organised an Indian night which included a 3-Course Indian meal with live entertainment.

Aaliya said, ā€œ[The] Event taught a lot about effective marketing, promotion, entrepreneurship- buying and selling and delegationā€.
