Lancaster University Farmer’s Market is held every Thursday 10am – 5pm during term time bringing you a variety of local stalls providing fresh produce, clothing, jewellery and much more.
It is a project run by SIFE Lancaster in conjunction with LUSU aiming to increase trade for local, independent producers whilst strengthening links between the university and local community. We promote the importance of buying local and (where possible) organic produce in relation to conservation of the environment and goods from local businesses to help the local economy thrive.
Find out more about the Farmers Market on their Facebook page.
We also run market stall at our special events such as Christmas Market and are always on the look-out for more stalls to attend the markets – if you know someone who would be interested in attending please ask them to email Louise Mason – ku.ca.retsacnalnull@nosam.l
