LUSU has many services our members can use. Here’s a list of what’s available:
Accommodation
Advertising and Promotions
There are numerous opportunities to promote to students on campus. If you’re interested in advertising in SCAN, flyering or having a promo stall, coming to a Campus Market or booking into Freshers’ Fair get in touch.
Help & Finance Services
Our finance team is located in LUSU’s main building. They are available to sort out all financial issues relating to our activities, JCRs, clubs, societies and suppliers weekdays 10am-4pm.
Help & Advice Services
If you need help and advice you can drop into see an adviser weekdays between 9-5pm or you can contact us online. We support students with academic, accommodation and finance. We also have a weekly legal surgery.
Info Desk
The Information Desk team offer general information about LUSU and the University plus handling sales of Unirider Bus pass, Grad Ball tickets, Purple card and offers fax, thermal binding, lamintating, photocopying and photo booth services.
IT & Comms Support Services
LUSU develops many of its own digital systems. For information about our services and technical issues with any LUSU It system including websites supported by us please contact the team directly.
Jobshop
Our Jobshop enables students to sign up to find part time job opportunities and employers to advertise their opportunities free of charge.
LUSU Involve
These are our volunteering services and support for student enterprise.
LUSU Living
Living provides managed off campus housing opportunities for both undergraduates and postgraduates. We also have guidance on how to find private rental properties via our private housing information
LUSU Shops:
We have 3 shops, 2 on campus and one online. Central is our supermarket between Grizedale and Pendle opposite to the George Fox. The LUSU Shop is just off Alex Square and our e-shop sells Lancaster University clothing & gifts
Nightline
Nightline is the student run listening service which runs nightly in term time. You can phone in for a chat or for information about general services at the University or in Lancaster. Services are available via phone, texts and emails.
Pocket Lancaster
Our mobile services provide you with information about what events, offers, discounts and campaigns are happening where and when. PocketLancaster provides vital info about social life on campus and in the city. It also includes purple card offers.
