Lancaster University Students’ Union.
All students studying degrees at Lancaster University either in the UK or across the world at our partner institutions are automatically our members.
At LUSU we provide a mix of representation, activities and services for Lancaster students. We are not for profit, so any money we make through our commercial activity is ploughed straight back into offering you more and better services. We look after all of the societies and sports clubs on campus, but on big events like Roses and Grad Ball and we also offer representation through the College JCRs and Cross Campus Officers.
The political leadership of our Union comes from our elected officers, led by the President and team of 5 full time Vice Presidents.
As a Students’ Union we are a registered educational charity. We have a Board of Trustees to oversee key decision making that relates to the future of LUSU. The trustees have a responsibility to ensure that LUSU makes sound financial decisions, works within the law and works for the benefit for its memberss.
We are governed by our Constitution and Bye Laws, which outline how we operate and what we do.
