To build on the success of last year and to ensure TEDxLancasterU is a Lancaster University community owned event, we will be holding a public forum to collect ideas and feedback on TEDxLancasterU to build an energy behind next May’s conference.
The event will consist of a short presentation by the students leading TEDxLancasterU, followed by a big networking and community chalk board session. It will be taking place in Management School Hub Cafe from 5:30 on Tuesday 26th November. You can order a free ticket here. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Joe Bourne. TED is about sharing ideas across a community – that is what we hope this event will be; a chance for every member of the Lancaster University community to share ideas about what “TEDxLancasterU is to me…”
Finally, it wouldn’t be a TEDxLancasterU event if we didn’t include a TED talk so here’s one by Candy Chang to inspire you to think about what you would write on a ‘community chalkboard’ with the opening: “TEDxLancasterU is to me…” (go on – it’s only 6 minutes!).
